TEBOW BELIEVES THEREFORE HE IS…..zuki finds parallel lines

“God’s other Son” actually looked like an NFL quarterback yesterday!  Five in a row on the road certainly says the beloved Broncos are headed in the right direction.  I believe JJOOAAZQ has promised us an ‘Ode to Tebow’ so I’ll defer our general Tebow perspective to him.

I’ve never been one to “toot my own horn” but if I do say so myself, my art is beginning to blossom.  While still an acquired taste for some, completely ridiculous to others, and still more being just plain indifferent, I’ve steadily made progress.  It’s been frustrating at times, but to be alone (mostly) left to my thoughts surrounded by my work in various stages of completion gives me a level of satisfaction I think few can know.  When immersed in my work I have more energy than at any other time in my dull life including paid employment, being with a woman (if memory serves), or drinking listening to a good Blues selection.  Time passes with never an outside indication of what part of the day it is.  Unless one bears one’s soul by allowing would-be patrons to examine one’s work, one can’t possibly know the high of genuine pleasure.  Generally people won’t trash your work while face to face, but will either roll their eyes and leave or say “it’s all very interesting” then quickly exit.  I’ve long since learned to take criticism and praise with equal measure though praise is easier to digest.

Art is much like the children’s game where a phrase or word is whispered to one child then the next, etc… by the time each child hears then repeats the original word or phrase it’s greatly distorted or altogether wrong.  Art begins as an idea firmly ensconced in one’s head, but as the construction moves forward it rarely matches the original plan.

Creation to the utter dismay of Religious scholars everywhere is not an exact science! When something works you stay with it, shape it, bend it, and explore it until you’ve exhausted the idea.  More importantly though this process almost always leads to parallel concepts or ideas.  Thankfully, my synapses are still functioning and have discovered new but similar paths.

I’ll be seeking further light and knowledge just as young Tebow has inspiring an entire town!

Who knows who climaxes or not when victim is unconscious and ZUKI is drunk?!

    • Bagwan

tammy makes a valid point and your poem better ryyme.

From what I hear zuki knows nothing about climaxing, ask any women he’s been with!

fez tell aunt fannie to brace herself because true to his word JJOOAAZZPP has submitted the much acclaimed “Ode” to Tebow.  I read it; then read it again; then one more time to be certain.  In my humble opinion it may be his finest effort to date.  I was going to post it today, but thought let’s string this out a little further.  The climax is so much more intense the long one is able to hold back.  It’ll be there tomorrow….

  • JJOOAA

Ether yer Aunt Fannie?… ZUKI much prefers roofies!

  • fez

Ether my aunt fannie…zuki where’s the ode to tebow?

  • Bagwan

I went to bed last night with the nervous anticipation of a kid on Christmas Eve. I wake up this morning to find nothing, nada, zero, zilch. Oh and by the way, the cookies and milk were gone — not exactly the behavior one would expect from a Teboner.

  • Just G&P JJOOAA

MOI sincerest of appologies… You’ll have it by the end of biz today!

I had to spend extra time on MOI “Beatify Tebow” campaign:  vetting volunteers, snagging snacks, recording robo-calls, staking signs, delivering donuts, handing out handouts, bussing babies, intercoursing interns… A LOT OF WORK, THIS POLITICS!
Support MOI, support MOI very much.

While not one to question the veracity of anyone’s story and I’m always willing to give a body the benefit of doubt, but so far I’ve not received the much anticipated “Tebode.”  Typically JJOOAAZZPP’s word is his bond and would put today’s Boy Scouts to shame.  Please understand!  He can actually recite the ‘Scout Oath’ verbatim.  I’ll be checking the ‘inbox’ periodically today as his submission is no doubt floating in the ether.  It happens from time to time.
Thanks to Bagwan for the photo submission, but it may offend the two or three of you reading this collop so I will not be using it for such an important posting.

  • Just G&P JJOOAA

IT IS WORTH EVERY ONE OF MOI THOUSAND WORDS!

  • Bagwan

As always Joe we look forward to your contribution.
    Here is a possible illustration.

  • Just G&P JJOOAA

OK… OK… “MOI TEBODE:  2012” has been submitted.
It will be published after final proofing by Our HOST, who will also select a proper illustration.
Enjoy MOI, enjoy MOI very much.

If Zuki’s posting isn’t “tooting his own horn” I don’t know what would qualify!

I don’t want to be critical but we in accounts receivable were devistated not to read the ode to Tebow this morning.  Just so you know, after the humiliation of yesterdays KC game we’ve officially jumped on Tebow bandwagon!

In regard to criticism of my work I’d like to point out and I quote, “I’ve long since learned to take criticism and praise with equal measure though praise is easier to digest.”  So like any human being I’d rather hear praise than a critique.  Critics rarely produce anything and are only uplifted when they tear somebody down like the talentless hacks they are!

As for JJOOAAZZPP the ‘Diatribe’s’ official poet and limerick consultant it appears he has a case of cold feet.   I can only say our expectations were fed and nourished by him and only him.  Not only did he mention working on his ‘Ode’ that has become an obvious appetence to his beloved QB, he teased us with an excerpt!  Now even after Tebow’s 5th win he’s begging us to keep our expectations in check!  String us along no further…let’s have it!

There, that is more like the Zuki I know.

I’m happy that ALL are waiting for MOI TEBODE… but PLEASE… PRETTY PLEASE… I beg of you:  do not ramp up your collective expectations too high… TIMMY’s increasingly expic exploits are such that even MOI legendary eloquence may not be sufficiently grandiose to tuly express MOI bromance.
Love ya, love ya very much.

First off, I agree that for the first time this year, Tebow looked more like a QB than a FB. As you say, let us defer the rest of the Tebow discussion until the unveiling of KYJELLY’s opus. I cannot imagine a more fertile ground for ridicule than a Tim Tebow poem written by one of his adoring, elderly fans.

Now let’s talk about you. You say you don’t “toot your own horn” and that is true, although part of me thinks that is because you currently cannot afford a horn. You also say that you have learned to take criticism about your art but I am going to have to doubt that one. I have seen you take my sincere compliments and twist them into direct attacks on you. I have seen you measure unequal wine pours to prove the whole world is against you. So now you want us to believe that criticism of your art rolls off your back. No my friend, just admit that you are very sensitive — there is nothing wrong with that, especially in an artiste.
