HUNKERING DOWN IS OVER!…..zuki re-enters life’s rich pageant

Good Morning Pansophy’s Children,

Just a quick note to those of you living from pay check to pay check; YAHOO IT’S PAY DAY!  While it’s still necessary to be frugal the hunkering is over!  Maladies aside, I’m preparing to have a big weekend celebrating the full moon and treat myself to prime rib with sautéed mushrooms washed down with a glass or two of Oregon Vineyard’s Pinot Noir.

Keeping focused on finishing my studio work continues to be a struggle and frustrates me to no end.  I’d like to be there full time which of course would expedite the process, but I don’t see that happening.  Having said that though, each week I learn or more accurately re-learn the challenge of creating an exact replica of what’s running around in my head.

I plan on delivering Cush’s hood ornament (hot dog w/mustard) this weekend which should provide some entertainment given I already know how he feels about it.  I’m in hopes he’ll change his mind once he’s able to see and touch the finished work.  I’ll keep you posted.

I kid you not:  There was a line of Blondies patrons that nearly circled the room waiting to buy Just G&P JJOOAA drinks.  Everyone suspects he’s buried his money and when crapulous he likes to draw out bogus treasure maps.  Sad really.

You are CORRECT, Sir!… I ascribe to a B-Day philosophy adopted from MOI ward Karen:  You get one celebratory day for each decade of life… meaning MOI LAST B-Day will officially be Tues the 15th!!!!
Toast MOI, toast MOI very much!… act NOW to avoid any last-minute rush!

FAIR WARNING: Even though AA’s birthday is now officially over, he has a policy of accepting “birthday drinks” for several days afterward.

I emptied my coin jar yesterday so there’s just enough to pull it off—then I’ll have dinner!!

Once you are through buying the birthday drinks I doubt you will be able to afford the prime rib. You might still be able to get the mushrooms.

HAPPY BIRTH DAY!  I’m taking a stab at this putting myself way out there and guess you’ve just completed your 64th rotation.

    When I’m Sixty-Four
       ——The Beatles
When I get older losing my hair,
    Many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a valentine
    Birthday greetings bottle of wine?

If I’d been out till quarter to three
    Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
    When I’m sixty-four?

oo oo oo oo oo oo oo oooo
You’ll be older too, (ah ah ah ah ah)
And if you say the word,
    I could stay with you.

I could be handy mending a fuse
    When your lights have gone.
You can knit a sweater by the fireside
Sunday mornings go for a ride.

Doing the garden, digging the weeds,
    Who could ask for more?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
    When I’m sixty-four?

Every summer we can rent a cottage
In the Isle of Wight, if it’s not too dear
    We shall scrimp and save
    Grandchildren on your knee
    Vera, Chuck, and Dave

Send me a postcard, drop me a line,
    Stating point of view.
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
    Yours sincerely, Wasting Away.

Give me your answer, fill in a form
    Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
    When I’m sixty-four?

    Whoo!

Whoo MOI, Whoo MOI very much!
