MOTHERS GONE WILD – zuki takes a closer look

Good Morning Perpending Mammary Glands,

One more Mother’s Day and by God they deserve all 24 hours of it! Having said that though, I think it’s time to reassess our lifelong relationship with our mothers. I’m not denigrating anyone’s mother so please don’t over read the opening sentence. What I mean by reassess is to look deeper than breast-feeding for the gifts our sainted mothers bequeathed us. We all remember their loving kindness throughout our little triumphs and failures, as she was always there. She made sure a skinned knee became a medal of honor; proudly displaying the band aid. It’s easy to sit back and relish those experiences, because with the exception of Dv’ant, most of us share the same kinds of love. What I’m trying to convey here is to get microscopic or DNA-like about our mothers genetic gifts. C’mon let’s peel back the layers and get brutally honest!

I thought I’d get the ball rolling and relay the answer my mother gave me when I asked what trait of hers she thinks I received from her. I was a little surprised how quickly she answered. It was as if she knew this question was coming, but here’s what she said:

“This is easy son, because you’ve been such a joy over the years and I have seen bits of me emerge throughout your life. Do you have a pencil handy?” Without waiting for an answer she began her itemization.

1. Sense of humor
2. Bad back
3. Devilish good looks
4. Athleticism
5. Kindness to strangers
6. Lavender-like odor while defecating
7. Long suffering
8. Air-guitar
9. Keen artistic eye
10. Breast-man

The actual list is far too long for this forum but I think you get the idea. Mothers are incapable of trashing their offspring whether they deserve it or not. I have no way of knowing for sure, but think mothers everywhere share this trait! God bless them all.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!!
