Well….well…well it appears Dave from the UK has responded to my humble challenge! Even though he delivers a shot at me, I’m very pleased to hear from him and kudos to his ‘workmate’—enjoy:

Alright you crybabies shut up! I was cursed by my workmate who led me to your hideous website and have decided to respond to your challenge and give you a taste of life in the UK. According to the ‘Ham n High’ (Hampstead and Highgate) NatWest (National Westminster Bank) customers were complaining about the length of time they had to wait in queues….so NatWest have decided to remove clocks from the branches.

Unofficial employee comment:

“With a clock there, it was difficult for us to disagree with them. Without one it’s harder for them to complain”

Official bank response:

Spokesman Ronan Kelleher said a survey undertaken before the refit found clocks were not something customers believed would “enhance their banking experience.”

Timeless?
